PIONEER GUEST CABINS, Crested Butte

Pioneer Guest Cabins, near Crested Butte, Colorado, features eight cabins on 10 acres. Each cabin includes a fully equipped kitchen and bath, multiple beds, a fireplace, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a Bose wireless speaker. All units offer free Wi-Fi and a gas fireplace. Each room provides a private bathroom with a shower. There are no televisions in the cabins, but Smart TVs with Netflix are available to borrow for free.

The Pioneer provides access to outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, and snowshoeing. Guests can hike to wildflower meadows, fish in the creek, or explore snowshoe trails. The resort is a 20-minute drive from Crested Butte Mountain Resort. In winter, sledding hills and skiing trails are accessible. Guests can hike to the warming hut overlooking Paradise Divide.

The Pioneer Guest Cabins includes a creekside hot tub area, open from 10 AM to 9 PM, with one-hour reserved slots starting on the hour. A heated changing room with towels is provided. Children ages 5 and older are welcome, with a maximum of five people.

Located just outside Crested Butte, the Pioneer is a 12-minute drive to the town and a 15-minute drive to Mount Crested Butte. The resort is two miles off Highway 135 on a dirt road. Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport is 45 km away. Guests can drive directly to the cabins and park in front, and no 4WD is needed to reach the resort in summer.

The Pioneer Guest Cabins offers free dog beds. Dogs are welcome with certain restrictions, including staying off furniture. Bottled water is unnecessary due to the pure water source. Cell service is available a half mile down the road, with free Wi-Fi in all cabins. Safety features include a fire extinguisher, smoke detector, and a first aid kit. Guests are required to follow all local National Forest Service guidelines.
